yes, i am here and alive...just been so busy these past few days...anyway, if you don't see me typing much on here, it's because i am blogging away on http://eclectic-bubblegumerz.blogspot.com

with a child on one hand and a hubby on the other, then still juggling with craft work, it's pretty hard for me juggle with all kinds of journals, blogging etc, so i have decided to put everything: both personal and non personal.

there ya go...anyway, i will still be posting on here..just to update what's happening on my website..i have put more sales on for necklaces, and the more items section (all for sale). a few earrings and bracelets are on for sale too.

This is the picture of the handbag...if I have not explained in my previous post (which I deleted by accident..oopsie daisy!), it's for the lucky customer who spends over GBP50. And this offer only ends in jan 07 (the end of jan beginning of feb), so you have plenty of time.

Today's weather has been so weird and terrible. It was even hailing at one point. I could feel deep down in my heart that something bad was going to happen. Anyway, my mum just went home this evening and missing her now, my sis went along but they'll be back next month which i'm so looking forward to.

I'm excited about Christmas break and New Year's eve. Anyway, tomorrow some of the items on my website will be discounted between 5% to 20%, so check it out. If it's not done by tomorrow (Friday), check again on Saturday. I did not have time today as I wanted to spend time with my mum and she wanted to spend as much time with my lil' daughter as well.

By the way, I forgot to mention about Luci's dress. I did sew the little strawberry buttons, but did not take a pic of the dress with them, so when I get my daughter's clothes all sewn up, I'll send piccies of them.

I'm considering in doodling on tops and sew buttons on fabrics and selling them online. I'm not too sure what title I should give..perhaps "re-cy-cled"?

Usually, Sundays would be a time where I am all cosied up in my sofa with a hot cup of hot chocolate during this time of the year. But today, went on a trip to Bicester Village where I got myself a lovely dress and cardi for a Xmas event in Edinburgh,Scotland. My darling daughter was in her very best behaviour.

Anyway, last night I made two tops up for my friends. One of which I sewed some felt fabric which I made into circles and sewn buttons on them, and gave a lovely vintage effect. Then, the other top, I drew some designs using a fabric pen. Will take photos soon and post them on tomorrow. I need to finish up another dress which is for my friend's daughter. I got the dress for 3 pounds, it's a nice green summer dress (it's summer in australia now), going to sew some cute little strawberry buttons.

Monday, out with my mum and grandma and my sis, (darling hubby is babysitting daughter) to Harrods for lunch and possible shopping too. Maybe I'll finally get my dream Chanel bag! Or maybe not and just dream about it. hehe. I'm not really bothered with designer labels...I rather meet the designers in flesh instead!

Anyway, I'll post some piccies of my new work tomorrow. I'm off now...tired!

Hi, would like to intro a bit about myself. Eclectic-Bubblegumerz, pronounced as 'goomerz' and short for Eclectic-B. I started discovering myself again when I realised last year that I want to make things which makes me feel myself, without worrying about what others judge of me i.e. my work. I love making things which represents me as a whole and not just in one basic colour. Before Eclectic-B was discovered, it was formerly known as 'Manik-Manik' simply meaning 'beads' in Malaysian/Indonesian. Manik-Manik was suppose to represent luxurious jewelleries and accessories of semi-precious stones, but trying to make it fit with Eclectic-B just did not seem right. I love to mix beads with buttons, then with fabrics and all that, but if I was to mix precious stones with acrylic, then, it doesn't fit the motive. I meant as in together, not separately. I love semi precious stones, don't get me wrong, but they're too expensive to buy and expensive to maintain. And I would rather prefer making something a person can afford and love to wear instead of not.

So, some of my work I have I want to sell them off to make space for my individual work pieces. Meaning I was to show my other side of creativity.

Anyway, you can be the judge of it all.
